Veterinary Services Available Reception Our large comfortable waiting room offers daily newspapers, a wide range of information leaflets, video, TV, fresh coffee and chilled water.
Consulting Rooms We have four fully equipped consulting rooms.
Operating Suite Two sterile operating theatres equipped for a full range of surgical procedures. Anaesthetic gases and oxygen are piped from a central store and spent gases are actively scavenged.
Preparation Room Dedicated preparation room with twin wet tables, scrub up sink and autoclave. Powered dental equipment for sonic and ultrasonic scaling, polishing and extraction.
Diagnostics The diagnostics department has a dedicated Radiography Unit with x-ray machine and automatic x-ray processing and piped anaesthetic gases. We also have two ultrasound scanners with photographic imaging, endoscopes, proctoscope with video camera and TV recording link.
Laboratory The onsite lab services include testing for biochemistry analysis, haematology, electrolyte and blood gas, and blood clotting analysis allowing us to offer a wide range of same day test results, including pre-anaesthetic blood testing for the added safety of your pet.
Kennels Hospital kennels constructed in stainless steel for maximum comfort and hygiene. Walk in kennels for larger patients and an isolation kennel for those with suspected infectious or contagious disease, which may require barrier nursing.
Dispensary Our fully stocked dispensary is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Prescriptions can only be dispensed if the animal is under our care and has been examined in the last six months. Repeat prescriptions: please telephone in advance to save time.
Equine Services The Practice provides a broad range of services to our equine clients. They include geldings and other minor surgical procedures, which can be carried out under standing sedation. Whilst other operations that require the use of an operating theatre can be referred.
Home Visits No problem, if possible phone before 10.00am on the day of the required visit. Out of Hours emergencies We provide 24 hour cover for our registered clients. Ring the surgery number and your call will be diverted to an answering service. They will take your details and page the Duty Veterinary Surgeon who will telephone you to offer advice and / or arrange to see you and your pet. Payment To ensure fee levels are kept as reasonable as possible, we expect payment in full to be made at the conclusion of a course of treatment. We accept all major credit cards. Insurance With the spiralling costs of diagnostic tests and treatments and the increasing sophistication of surgical proceedures, we would advise you to insure your pets.
